Cant active notifications in user preference

I’m facing an issue with email notifications in ServiceNow and would appreciate your guidance.

For a specific user, the “Allow Notifications” toggle in User Preferences is disabled (greyed out) and cannot be enabled manually.

@pathumharsh and if you click on the advanced preferences?

Is this impacting just one user or more? 

 

If nothing is found, create a case from support portal

cant make it enable

@pathumharsh Just you or more users? Ask colleagues or impersonate for some if you can.

Hi @pathumharsh 

 

We are also facing the similar issue for one user and they turned off "Allow Notifications" toggle in User Preferences is disabled (greyed out) and cannot be enabled. 

I tried enabling back in sys_user table for that particular user by enabling notification on the list view but unable to update it due to security reasons.

Could you please help me if your issue resolved.
