Sunday
Hello Community Members,
I am currently preparing for the CSA certification and would like guidance from experienced ServiceNow professionals.
Could someone please suggest a clear roadmap after CSA to build a successful long-term career in ServiceNow?
Specifically, Which roles should I target ?
Which certifications are most valuable after CSA?
What kind of hands-on experience or projects should I focus on? (Reply it with details)
Any common mistakes I should avoid?
Solved! Go to Solution.

@tehseenfl29 Could you please share some more details on your profile? Are you a coder by heart or a person who enjoys process consulting? If you are a technical person, I recommend you to pursue the career path of a developer, for details you can refer to this path https://learning.servicenow.com/lxp/en/pages/journey-overview?id=journey_overview&journey_id=cbdb13f... meticulously planned by ServiceNow Learning team.
If you are not a coder by heart and would like to build your career in the process consulting/platform owner you can follow this career path https://learning.servicenow.com/lxp/en/pages/journey-overview?id=journey_overview&journey_id=3f92eb6...
Both the paths offer long term career in ServiceNow. Depending up on your goals and path you can choose the right certification (these certifications are also part of the career paths shared above).
Regarding projects, I recommend getting hands on experience on various product lines in ServiceNow (ITSM, CSM, HRSD, etc.) Try to understand how exactly ServiceNow works and how these product line introduces efficiency and cost savings within the organisations.
ServiceNow is all about process implementations via workflows and automations. Make now learning portal your friend and try to enroll for courses which align with your career goals.
Continuous learning is the key to survive and thrive in the ServiceNow eco-system.
Hope this helps.
Consider marking the response helpful and accepted solution if it addresses your question.
