Im trying to see if I  can make a report with the out of the box features. I need to make an incident report where i want to group incidents by subject and the only thing this is different in the working is Error: App23,Error: App30, Error: App50. I have tried creating a report but I am not seeing that possible. Am I missing something?

Don't think it's possible and wouldn't recommend it. To have a report group by subject can cause many errors / duplicates due to space, punctuation etc.

This is doable in ServiceNow, but it depends on how roles and visibility are set up. I’ve seen teams allow group-based reporting by adjusting ACLs or using assignment groups instead of individual users. Sometimes it’s cleaner to route incidents through a shared group mailbox or queue rather than direct creation. Clarifying ownership early avoids confusion when multiple people touch the same record.
