Lost Posts, Badges & Rank – Need Help Re-aligning

Hey Community,

 

After a long time, I logged into our community and was really surprised to see that all my posts, comments, badges, and rank seemed to be disconnected from my account. The blogs, articles, and comments I contributed are still visible on the platform—I can search and view them—but they’re no longer linked to my profile.

 

I have a feeling this might have happened because I merged my secondary ServiceNow learning account with this one, but I'm not entirely sure.

 

Now, I really don’t want to lose all the work I’ve put in—my posts, comments, and especially the achievements like badges and rank. I’d love to get everything realigned with my account and work towards gaining back what I’ve earned and continue contributing.

 

I have a list of all the posts along with their hyperlink. Please suggest how I can go about this.

Hello @PrasadShelar 

 

Yes it's because of that. I would give you a suggestion, keep your community ID with your personal profile and don't be merging or disconnecting it here and there again and again. And keep this same email as your "WebAssessor email address". Such that your certifications are reflected here but there is no such thing as merging and disconnecting again and again . 

 

 

I don't remember the exact post but I remember Sarah - Community administrator had addressed this issue for a guy who was facing this same after merging his account with new account. 

 

So you can reach out to SARAH and DAN BRUHN - Administrators - who will look into this issue and perform if there are any remaining steps.

And @PrasadShelar tbh, I also faced rank issue my rank dropped from tera guru to Tera expert again and I reached out to Dan and it got sorted. But with me there was no such thing as merging account or anything. It was just a system glitch or I don't know the reason, but yes reaching out to Dan got it resolved.

To be honest, my personal community profile has always been linked to the same email ID used for WebAssessor. I’m quite mindful of account hygiene and had carefully merged my secondary account into this one. Post-merge, I even re-verified both accounts, and everything seemed fine at the time.

 

However, after a period of inactivity, I noticed that most of my contributions had disappeared. Fortunately, I’ve maintained a personal record of all my articles, so I still have that list.

 

I truly appreciate the support @Sarah @David and @Dan Bruhn provide to the community, and I’m confident they’ll help me get this sorted.

Hello @PrasadShelar ,

 

I'm afraid that you would have to contact ServiceNow directly in order to have this issue investigated and hopefully fixed.
