Questions unavailable via catalog builder

Hi there,
I'm encountering an issue while trying to edit a catalog item using the Catalog Builder. My goal is to change the layout of some variables. I have successfully made similar changes in the past, in this catalog item, using the catalog builder. Now I am unable to do so. In the questions section, I receive the following message:

Did you get to the bottom of this issue? One of my colleagues just showed me this same error. The link on the screen to information on the issue is not working either.
I've suggested my colleague works on the catalog item direct rather than via App engine studio.

1. Navigate to sc_template.list
2. Open the template with issue.
3. Under "Catalog Template Details", open the record with "Questions" as the Question value
4.Remove the contents of the Value field and Save the changes. This will remove the previously selected variable set, which will allow you to make modifications in the questions of catalog builder.

Thanks Ravi, in our case we don't use a template. I've checked the variable that was added to the Catalog Item most recently, inactivated the question/variable and checked again but still seeing the same "questions unavailable" error.
