Hi @satishdharm

Validate the steps again specifically highlighted one.

  1. Open CI Class Manager: Navigate to Configuration > CI Class Manager in your ServiceNow instance.
  2. Create New Class:
    • Class Name: Mongoose Web Server
    • Table Name: u_cmdb_ci_mongoose_web_server
    • Extends: Web Server (Ensure you do NOT extend Hardware directly; it must be a child of Web Server).
    • Icon: Select the standard Web Server icon.
    • Extensible: Check the Extensible box to allow further inheritance if needed (often required for validation success).
  1. Set Identification Rule:
    • Rule Name: Mongoose Web Server rule.
    • Dependent: Set this to True (indicates it relies on a host relationship).
    • Identifier Entries: Use the following attributes from the main table:
      • Class
      • Running process command
    • Constraints: Set Allow null attributes and Allow fallback to parent's rule to False
  1. Confirm Relationships: Ensure the class has a preconfigured Runs on relationship to Hardware
