I created a new ServiceNow Developer account using my personal email address and am trying to provision a Personal Developer Instance (PDI).
When I select the Australia release and request an instance, I consistently receive the following error:
"We were unable to assign an instance to you. Please retry now."
I have already tried the following:
- Using Chrome, Edge, and Incognito/Private mode
- Logging out and logging back in
- Retrying multiple times over the past day
NCHI******@gmail.com email ID is used to create the account.

Hi @nchingalwar
- Try to provision a slightly older PDI version (e.g., Zurich or earlier), and then using the upgrade tool to update to the latest release.
- Log out of your profile->Return to the primary ServiceNow Developer Site->sign back in, and click "Start Building" again to clear session glitches
- Due to high demand following a new platform family release, PDI pools for the Australia version are currently experiencing errors or waitlisting. These days lots of similar issue reported.
- Once you are able to submit request , will suggest you to Wait for PDI request to be provisioned if your request is already waitlisted
- Support is not available for PDI .
Please Accept the solution if it assisted you with your question & Mark this response as Helpful.
