Workspace button translation

If anyone can help direct me where should I make this filter button translated. It is not dynamically translating to French.

I am working on the CSM.FSM workspace and when you open the filter it is showing the English value.

I tried the sys_translated_text but not sure what table I need to go for this button.

In UI Builder, the presentation layer expects all static component text to be routed through the platform's native I18N (Internationalization) framework, which exclusively queries the sys_ui_message table for string resolution.

Attempting to force UI Builder components to read from data-layer translation tables like sys_translated_text is an architectural anti-pattern. By standardizing your Workspace component translations within the sys_ui_message table, you ensure that the Next Experience rendering engine can efficiently cache and load the localization payloads client-side, avoiding unnecessary synchronous database queries during page load.

This is a common point of confusion when localizing Configurable Workspaces! The table you are looking for is sys_ui_message, not sys_translated_text.

The sys_translated_text table is utilized for translating data residing within records (such as a Service Catalog item description or a Knowledge Base article). However, static UI elements embedded within Next Experience components—like buttons, headers, and fixed labels—rely entirely on the Message table.

1.Navigate to Messages:1 min.

Type sys_ui_message.list in your application navigator to access the Message table.

2.Create the Translation Record:2 mins.

Create a new record. Set the Key to the exact English string of the button (this is case-sensitive). Set the Language to French (fr), and the Message to your desired French translation.

3.Flush the Cache:1 min.

Type cache.do in the application navigator. UI Builder heavily caches translations, so the new button text will not appear until the cache is cleared.

To verify if this step was successful, impersonate a user whose language profile is set to French, open the CSM/FSM workspace, and confirm the button text has updated correctly.
