Scoped Application changes to Catalog item not deploying Changes from dev to test instance

We are having issues with making changes to a catalog's name, short description, and description. We were able to capture updates to the scoped application's changes to the catalog's name, short description, and description on our Development Level Instance but when promoting to a higher instance (Test Instance) the changes are lost.

the updates are being captured within a scoped app.

Check on these points

1) your changes are captured in correct scoped update set

2) did you check the customer updates got captured in your update set before migration

3) any error faced during committing the update set and you ignored that
