CSM External User Attachment Limitation – Any Known Workarounds?

Hi,
Has anyone discovered a workable solution for the current limitation where external users cannot upload attachments on the CSM portal. Our customer’s process requires an attachment as an approval document when registering an entity, so this capability is essential for us.

Hello @CarolMa6 ,
A workable solution is to use a dedicated email inbox with Inbound Email Actions, where external users can email approval documents and include the entity reference in the subject. The attachments will automatically link to the case.
For a more long-term approach, enabling attachment upload via a custom portal widget or Record Producer would be recommended.

we are looking at a long-term solution enabling attachment upload via a custom portal widget would this mean a staging table for the attachments need to be created?
