Customer Project - track costs related to customer and vendor

Hi,
my organization uses Customer Project management (com.snc.csm_ppm) to handle projects.
For a customer "C", both internal consultants as well as external consultants from a Vendor V can work on the same customer project.
When a "V consultant" (from the Vendor) submits a timecard, which is later approved, an expense line is generated and it helps us to prepare billing to the customer.
However we also need to pay our vendor. How can we track the cost associated with the work performed by the external consultant? Is there a solution OOTB? Ideally, it would be good to see a financial field similar to "Actual cost" but related to what is due to the Vendor.
