Customer Reset Password email notification

When Self Service Password Reset plugin is enabled, an email notification called 'Customer Reset Password' is added. Any one happens to know When this notification is sen out? Is it OK to disable it?

This is an interesting one. The event "customer_reset_pass" and "Customer Reset Password" notification exist after installing the core CSM plugin. However, using both snutils code search and ServiceNow Studio code search there are no results for the event so it may have been loaded in the plugin but never implemented.
