Deactivate a sub page in Service Operations Workspace

Hello,

I'm trying to deactivate the subpage "Record Information" in the Contextual Sidebar in the Service Operations Workspace. I removed the active flag from the Ui Builder by going to the subpage settings, but I still see the icon in the record form, in the contextual sidebar.

What should I do?

I'm working with the Xanadu release.

Thank you,

Maddalena

Hi Maddalena,

You're on the right track! Simply unchecking the "Active" flag on a subpage in UI Builder doesn't always remove the icon or entry from the Contextual Sidebar, because the sidebar can still load subpages based on navigation configuration or page template bindings.

1. Open UI Builder
2. Open the Record Page Template

  • In the Page Panel, open the record page for the table you're working with.

  • In the page structure, find the Contextual Sidebar Zone (often in the right column).

  •

3. Open the Contextual Sidebar Configuration

  • Click the Contextual Sidebar component (may be called Side Panel or ContextualPanel).

  • In the Configuration panel, look for the list of subpages or a property like:

    • subpage list

    • default subpages

    • show subpage icons

This is where the visible subpages are declared or dynamically loaded.

4. Remove the Subpage Reference Manually

If the "Record Information" subpage still appears even after being deactivated:

  • Find the JSON or config array that lists the subpages, and remove the entry for "record_information" (or whatever its ID is).

  • You may also need to check the "Page Variant" if your record page uses variants (e.g., record_incident.variant_1).
