I would like to hide known error cards in the knowledge base and would like to know how to achieve this.

Hi @SotaT ,
Knowledge Base control is based on user criteria. Your Know Error base can have a user criteria for only Knowledge admin or owner.
Turning off the article in the knowledge base will make it unavailable for use in search.

Go to the Portal in question and the Knowledge Base related list, edit and select the Knowledge Base you want to use.
Service Portal > Portals
Open the portal record from the list,
Scroll down to related list where you can specify the Knowledge Base, Catalog, and Taxonomy to be associated.
in you case since you didnt specify any it will include all that exist.
Now edit and specify the ones you wish thus filtering and not affecting other configurations by making inactive.
