Notification and send to the event creator

Hi all,

 

We created a specific case type

a some notifications is dedicated to this case type.

One of these notification is used to send a notification when additional comments is added.

we unchecked "send to the event creator" to avoid that the consumer receive a notification when he add himself a comment.

It doesn't work, the consumer receive the notification.

Can you help us? what is wrong?

here our settings :

Note that in CSM, if you use as recipient - the consumer record (here complainant), it doesn't work, never. We have to select consumer.email (here complainant.email) - no other choice. May be is a part of the reason of the issue?

Snow doc : The "send to the event creator" option is on the advanced notification view. By selecting this option you can send a notification to the person who performed the action that started the notification process.

When 'send to event creator' is OFF (unchecked), the person who performed the action that started the notification process will be removed from the list generated from the notification Users/groups in fields,Users, or Groups field.

Are you sure they are getting this exact email notification? If the Send to Event Creator is checked they should not and I suspect what you are seeing is another similar notification. 

 

Change the Subject line on this Notification to something unique and retest.

unfortunately not, i can identified that it is the right notification used in the email logs
