Removing contact relationships

Hi All,

 

Within accounts there is a related list for 'Contact Relationships'. This allows access for contacts to view the defined account(s). However, if for example a contact will no longer work with the account defined within a contact relationship, what is the best practice for removing them?

 

There does not appear to be any active/inactive fields and leaving the relationship allows them continued access to this account.

Thanks for the reply. It seems like the option specified in the documentation here: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-customer-service-management/page/product/customer-servi... is that the functionality is to delete the contact relationships, rather than making them inactive.
