Hello,
i have been trying to resolved a case by proposing a solution , but every time i got a message (invalide value on update )
could that be because the case has an open case task ?
if not, what could be the problem ?

you can try to close the open case task and validate the same scenario and do check if there's any mandatory fields that are not filled in.

Hello @ammar_k
There could be a Business Rule on the table which is aborting the action. Try checking the BR where when to run is set as before and check if script contains the current.abortAction(true) statement.
Alternatively, you can try deactivating the before BRs on your table and try resolving the case. If that works, then you need to check each workflow script.

Did you check any before update Business rule is stopping the update?
What debugging did you perform?
