Servicenow LIve Chat Lag When Typing

We recently switched over to agent chat in the Service Operations Workspace, but when we chat with customers there is a delay or lag when we type. We believe it may be the auto complete feature. Is there a way to disable the autocomplete feature? Has anyone else had this issue before?
