Add Survey for the Now Mobile Experience

Good Afternoon,

Quick article on how to add a survey to the Now Mobile app if you want your user base to provide feedback.

In the main instance create a new survey, I used a Numeric Scale i.e. 1 - 10 and a String Text for optional feedback if they wanted to request a new feature be added.

Once your happy with the survey, save and publish, it does not need to be made Public for this to work.

From the main instance search for 'Studio', open it up and choose the right application. On the navigation bar on the left, choose Applets to create a new one. Choose the 'URL' Applet.

Give it a name and an icon.

In the URL section, copy and paste the following:

/mesp?id=take_survey&type_id=[Survey Sys_id]

Remember to copy the '/' at the front, very important as it won't work otherwise, replace the sys_id with your own survey sys_id, which can be found under the menu 'View Surveys' in the main instance and right clicking on the correct one.

Add the Applet to a UI Section (I choose icon as the section type) inside an Applet Launcher, I created one just for the Survey and your done.
