BR types and example

Hello Developers, We all are aware of Business Rule Concept and it's types... but when it comes to explain about BR along with its example, its get a bit tricky and we all use different scenarios with different perspective regarding them. So here i am explaining you BR concept along with single basic example.

Example : Let's say you are posting a question on community and assume community is your service now instance. so

Firstly, I need to check that you are not posting any offensive materials. so for that I have a before business rule to check that. According to the rules setup by me, either allow or disallow the posting of the question. After your question have passed the rules of posting then it posted successfully. If someone opens your question and like your question then I need to award you points once the like is successful. I can have a after business rule to set this up.Then you will need to get a email notification when someone comments on your question. It does not need to be immediate so we use async business rule to trigger the email.

Finally, I need to update the number of views on your question. so I use a display business rule to update the counter
related to your question.
