There was a question on the community where the user wanted to hide the "submit" & "Add attachments" buttons when the catalog item was of the type "Content item". This make sense since those items isn't something you would order and just for information.
In this demo I show you a way to do it in the Kingston release. In this release thou the "submit" is already hidden, but then "Add attachments" is still there and you can take the same approach as I do here to hide the submit as well. And of course you can take this functionality and hide & show other elements you want to on a widget.

Dear Goran,
Could you help me on how to create an attachment in portal and when an attachment is uploaded it should show on that form.
Regards,
Manmath

Hi Manmath,
Can you explain a bit more what you are trying to achieve and the requirements? I'm not sure I understand what you mean with "to create an attachment on the portal".

Hi Goran,
Thanks for the information. Is the attachment icon will show and hide depending on the fields available in catalog item? How?
Thanks,
RJ

can we hide the add attachments icon only based on the variable value instead of hiding this for the entire catalog item...
