Had a hard time coming up with a good headline for this article. But at least I got your attention. Today we are going to talk/show how you can use connect as an alternative for email/push notification/sms etc. We all trying to avoid emails and try to kept the notifications at a minimal to just having the receivers get the most important stuff. But still it's a notification in another program. It might be Outlook, your phone, slack etc. It's not inside ServiceNow where they are working in atm.
So for this case I'm showing you have to take advantage of the connect. How to setup conversations that isn't connected to a specific case and how to then use that functionality with workflow, flows or just a script. Using this functionality the users will get a nice "heads up" inside ServiceNow where they can actually continue inside ServiceNow and be as effective as possible.
