I recently faced this issue and spent almost two hours to figure it out once I found out the root cause for the issue I wanted to share with you all.
I created simple UI Policy and it is not working for a field and when I checked the value of the field by double clicking using SN utils the value was empty as shown in figure below (Basically the value was not set even though I selected the choice value for the field. Because of this the UI Policy was not working.
We will go to root cause for the issue now.
Root cause : I added this field already at top of the form and I was checking in one of the tabs below. If you add the same field more than once in the form, the system will take the field it detects first so if you face the same issue make sure you dint add the same field in the form.
