Hi All,
I hope you are doing fine.
- Have you ever faced this problem where you are working on some requirements and as a part of this requirement the files which we have to update are in another update set?
- If this is the case then you can't update those record files in the current update set. To do so we have to first move the updates which we want to update into the current update set and then we can update the file.
- Now the question is how we can move these files from some update set into the current update set.
- To move updates we have to first open the file from the original update set and then update the update set reference field with the current update set.
- But consider this scenario where you have to move 100s of files from one update st to another, Do you think this is feasible if we update one record at a time?
I don't think so !!!!
In this tutorial, we will be working on a solution to ease the same.
We will create a UI action that will help us to move multiple updates from any update set to the current update set with a click.

Here is link to alternative method provided by Allen Andreas : https://www.servicenow.com/community/developer-forum/moving-multiple-update-sets-quickly-to-another-....
This method does not require creating a custom UI Action.
