In today's tutorial, we will be looking into the use case to open email records from the activity log.

  • In our day-to-day development activity, we work on emails and email logs a lot of time. In this video, we will see how we can define a custom styling to activity log through system property.
  • So as a part of this implementation, we will get a UI action in the activity log which will help us to navigate to the email log for that email.

Steps:

  1. Open any record
  2. Achieve trigger condition for email for the record
  3. An email will get trigger
  4. You can find the triggered email description in the activity log
  5. In the activity log, you will find the UI action
  6. Clicking on this UI action will route you to the email logs
