Hi All,

I hope you are doing fine.

In this tutorial, we will be looking over an exciting plugin called ServiceNow Webkit to HTML Plugin.

  • In our project, we get this ask a lot of times from the process team to share the pdf for the Homepage and dashboard.
  • For this kind of ask, I used to take screenshots and share them till I came to know about this ServiceNow plugin.
  • Webkit HTML to PDF Plugin :
    • To export dashboards and homepages to PDF, a plugin and property are needed.
    • Activate the WebKit HTML To PDF plugin and configure it to export homepages, dashboards, and some reports as PDF documents.

  • Procedure
    • Navigate to All - System Definition - Plugins.
    • Search for WebKit HTML to PDF. Select the plugin to open its form.
    • Click Activate/Repair.

If the OAuth 2.0 plugin is not already active, the WebKit HTML To PDF plugin activates it as well. For more information, see Activate a plugin.

Result:

  • Users can export homepages and dashboards to PDF to archive, print, or distribute.
