Hey ServiceNow community!
You might have overlooked a major update—ReleaseOps has arrived, and it could transform the way we manage deployments! If you’ve ever faced challenges with Update Sets or rolled out apps across environments, this feels like a game-changer.
Every client we partner with has their unique approach to releases. Some rely on manual methods, others have crafted their own workflows, and a few are dabbling in DevOps-like processes. But we’ve all hit the same snags. Sound familiar? Rushing to assemble Update Sets at the last second or reviewing changes right before a Change Request or CAB deadline?
ReleaseOps is a bold statement: Update Sets are here to stay. Whether you’re a fan or not, they’re the go-to multitool for ServiceNow deployments—and they’re finally getting some much-needed organization. This feature brings structured deployment workflows, automates transitions between instances, and integrates tools like ATF, Instance Scan, and Change Management. It even generates Deployment Tasks to spot and resolve issues before they reach production.
This isn’t just another dev gadget or Studio tweak. It’s a meaningful move to address one of the platform’s longest-standing challenges. Excited to try ReleaseOps?

Hi @Tushar
Unfortunately, we can’t access Release Ops in a PDI, so there’s limited opportunity to explore it hands-on. What you’ve shared is good and aligns well with the official documentation
