Automated testing for Virtual Agent topics in Utah
Great to hear that now virtual agent can also tested as other modules are tested under Automated Test Framework. This Automatic Testing uses the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework product through Virtual Agent Designer. as this functionality is now available in Designer itself, its quiet east to create, manage and run test cases now.
Highlights of Virtual Agent in Utah :
- Automate topic testing for topic flows in ServiceNow Virtual Agent Designer.
- Integrate multiple ServiceNow instances within a single Slack workspace.
- Enhance the admin experience for Virtual Agent integrations with the new Channels and integrations page.
- Improve the Virtual Agent end-user experience using the Proactive Triggers feature.
- Improve communication between the end user and Virtual Agent by letting the end user know if there are any new or unread messages waiting for them.
We will see in this Article about the Automated Test included in Virtual Agent.
Once you open the Designer of virtual agent you will find this new feature of Manage Test Cases.
Once you click on the manage test case you will have the option to Run Test Case or Create Test Case.
Kindly do take care and check the below points are correct or not?
- Plugin :com.glide.cs.atf : usually installed as a part of the Virtual Agent chatbot plugin. we do install Virtual Agent Chatbot plugin along with Glide Virtual Agent Plugin. you just have to make sure it is updated or not in Utah.
- Roles : any one of the above atf_test_designer, atf_ws_designer, atf_test_admin, virtual_agent_admin, or admin is required
- Applicable to : Topic, Setup Topic, or Small talk.
- System Property : Enable sn_atf.runner.enabled Property. OOB this property is false, Please Do not forget to enable it
- Topic must be Published for creation of Test Cases.
