Thrilled to announce that I’ve successfully completed the #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge!

I built a simple Access to ServiceNow System application using Creator Studio. The application is designed to add users to particular groups as specified by the user, along with the reason, and automatically routes the request for necessary approvals. It provides real-time status tracking, notifications, and automatic group assignments, ensuring a streamlined process for managing access.

Creator Studio simplified the entire process of turning this app idea into reality with its intuitive no-code interface. It enabled me to develop a fully operational application in under an hour, making the build fast and effortless!

This ensures that management receives all the information needed to address the problem effectively.
Key Features:
💎 Easy Complaint Submission: Residents can quickly raise complaints by filling out a straightforward form that includes details such as the issue type, location, and urgency. Attachments such as photos or videos can be included to provide visual evidence.
💎 Real-Time Tracking: Once a complaint is submitted, users can track its status in real-time. The app provides updates on the progress of their complaint, from acknowledgment to resolution.

Hi @laurenmcmanamon,

Excited to share that I completed the #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge!

I build a 'Virtual Machine Optimization Request' using Creator Studio. The Virtual Machine (VM) Optimization Request application allows IT teams to manage their virtual resources efficiently by enabling users to submit requests for optimizing their VMs based on performance needs or cost considerations.

Users can easily specify the VM they want to optimize and select from various optimization options, such as increasing, decreasing, or reallocating resources like CPU, RAM, and storage. The application also provides a “Performance Tuning” option for users looking to improve VM efficiency without changing its resource allocation.

Key features include selecting the urgency level of the request, providing a reason for optimization, and choosing a preferred time for the optimization, which ensures minimal disruption to operations. Once the request is submitted, the app automatically routes it for approval, evaluates the VM's current usage, and suggests optimal configurations. Upon approval, the VM changes are executed through integration with cloud platforms, and the user is notified of the status and outcome.

Experience Using Creator Studio:

Building this application in ServiceNow’s Creator Studio was a rewarding experience. The platform’s no-code and low-code capabilities allowed me to focus on the logic and user experience rather than getting bogged down by technical complexities. The Catalog made it easy to capture user input, while the Flow Designer helped automate the approval and execution process seamlessly.

Hi all,

I’ve created the Remote Work Request app using ServiceNow’s Creator Studio! 🎉 This application enables employees to easily request remote work, with features including a smooth approval process and automated notifications.

What I enjoyed most about this project was how seamless it was to build. With the drag-and-drop functionality in Creator Studio, I could effortlessly design the forms, create playbooks – all in one place. The process was incredibly user-friendly and intuitive, making it simple to tailor the app to specific business needs.

One of the standout features was the live preview in various interfaces such as the portal, mobile, and virtual agent, which allowed me to test the app’s usability across platforms and ensure a consistent experience for users. This ability to instantly preview the application as it would appear to end users greatly enhanced the development process and minimized iterations.

Overall, working in ServiceNow Creator Studio was a great learning experience and highlighted the power of low-code/no-code development in building functional, scalable applications with minimal effort.

Hi @laurenmcmanamon,
I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve successfully completed the
BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge! 🎉

In ServiceNow's Creator Studio, I designed and implemented a streamlined Internet Expense Reimbursement Request form. Here’s a snapshot of the automated process I built:

Requestor Submission: Users can easily submit their Internet Expense Reimbursement requests, detailing all incurred expenses.

Manager Approval: The request is routed to the requestor’s direct manager for initial review. The manager then approves or rejects the request based on the details provided.

Finance Team Validation: Upon managerial approval, the request is handed over to the finance team, who validate the expense and review the associated bill for accuracy.

Finance Approval and Notification: After thorough validation, the finance team approves the reimbursement and notifies the requestor of the approval and any next steps.

This comprehensive workflow ensures that all expenses are thoroughly reviewed by both managerial and financial authorities before processing.

Thanks to Creator Studio's intuitive no-code interface, I was able to bring this application to life in under an hour, streamlining the development process and making it faster than I could have imagined!

Excited to share that I have completed the #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge.

I have built a simple Mobile phone accessories application using Creator Studio which is designed to create a one stop shopping solution for organization users to place orders for mobile accessories fulfilled by their respective IT team. The workflow contains line manager and mobile team approval post which task gets generated to the mobile team to dispatch the equipment to the address of the employees.

Features:

1. The form captures essential details divided in separate sections such as the personal details section (username, manager name, department), accessories Required (check boxes for selecting various devices), address details (delivery contact name, delivery address, email id, post code).

2. The workflow contains necessary approvals from line manager and IT mobile team.

3. The fulfillment task gets generated only after the approvals and the mobile team can dispatch the required accessories based on the delivery address provided by the requester.

4. The requester and the fulfillment group can contact one another via additional comments on the fulfillment task.

5. By using the form settings > access tab on the studio the access to the form is controlled and made not available for HR department.

Benefits:

1. This app asks for simple input parameters from users for selecting the required devices and other details.

2. The requester are notified at each step about the request.

3. The fulfillment team gets all the required information from fulfillment task variables to complete the request.

I would encourage everyone from the Service Now community to participate on the #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge and unlock the power of low - code, no-code solution provided by Creator Studio.

Hi @laurenmcman

I am excited to share that I have successfully completed the #BuildWithCreatorStudio challenge using Creator Studio, where I developed an "Employee Termination Request" application.

How it works:

The application streamlines the employee termination process. A user submits a termination request, which is then routed for approval by the 'Requested For' manager. Upon approval, a subtask is automatically created to handle document preparation. This task is assigned to the "Business Application Registration Approval" group. After the termination date, once all subtasks are completed, the employee's status is set to inactive.

Hi @laurenmcman ,

I’m excited to share that I have completed the #BuildWithCreatorStudio
challenge! The ‘Request for Leave’ app is the result of this endeavour, designed to streamline the process for employees to apply leave. This app provides a convenient solution for employees to easily apply leave from ServiceNow instance

How It Works:
1- Request Submission: Employees start by submitting a request through the app via Service Portal, specifying the day want the leave from office.

2- Manager Approval: After submission, the request is automatically forwarded to the employee’s manager for approval. The manager reviews the request and, if it meets all requirements, approves it.
3-Task Assignment: Once approved, a task is created and assigned to the PMO Team. This team is responsible for marking the attendance in the portal so as to track the billable hours of a particular resource based upon his/her working hours per week

Task Status Conditions:
1-Completed: When the PMO team marks the leave in the portal the task status is marked as Completed and the employee received the confirmation from the PMO team ensuring the smooth and transparent communication between the resource and the PMO team of the project.

2-Incomplete: If the Leave cannot be applied by the PMO team due to business project criticality then the resource can discuss with the Manager internally and look for an alternative day for a leave.

Thanks to Creator Studio's no-code solution interface, I was able to bring this app idea to life and build a fully functioning application much faster than I thought, significantly streamlining the development process.
