Hi All,

 

Today I would be covering what is AI Search and In which version we can use it.

 

Definition:

 

It allows you to search or ask anything from AI in the various Search on ServiceNow Platform.It provides you a result of the search within few seconds.

 

It provides an AI based search engine on the below places on ServiceNow Platform:

 

ServiceNow Service Portal

ServiceNow Now Mobile

ServiceNow Virtual Agent

 

In another words, it is like an Intelligent query feature help you quickly find the answers you need.

 

Question#1: How should we request it on our Instance?

Answer: All customer instances which are provisioned in the Tokyo release or later, it is by default available for them.

 

Also, it is not available on PDI. Hence this cannot be tested on personal developer instances.

 

Question#2: How should we activate for Rome and SanDiego versions?

Answer: 1. Go to AI Search ---> AI Search Status

2. Verify the status whether it is enabled or not

3. If not enabled then click Request

4. Check the Status if it has changed to AI Search is enabled or ready

 

Note: Usually, it takes few hours to complete the activation.

 

Question#3: What are all different statuses of AI Search?

Answer: 1. AI Search is not enabled

2. AI search is ready

3. AI Search is requested

 

Question#4 : How does it look when you request for AI Search? 

Answer: I tried this on PDI, it doesn't activate the AI search as it is not supported on PDI but the status looks like this:

Question#5: Can we activate it on instance Quebec Patch 4 and below?

Answer: Yes, but you need a support case to ServiceNow.
