Today, we experienced an extraordinary event that was months in the making – our Q1 developer meetup! The anticipation had been building since December 2022, when we first launched the Indore chapter with just a few passionate ServiceNow team members. Fast forward to today, and our community has grown exponentially, reflecting the vibrant spirit of the cleanest city in India.
The excitement was palpable as professionals from more than 20 organizations registered for the event. We kicked off the day with a tasty breakfast that set the stage for what was to come.
Our morning began with a nostalgic look back at how the Indore Community started. The room buzzed with emotion as we reminisced over pictures from past events, celebrating our journey and growth. Then, the highlight of the morning – Chuck Tomasi, our very own ServiceNow legend, joined us live from 8500 miles away. Thanks to the wonders of the internet, Chuck shared his experience of building a spoke for integration. His session was nothing short of electrifying and deeply engaging, leaving everyone inspired.
Following Chuck, we had the dynamic duo of Jitin Hirani and Nishant Nigam from Infobeans take the stage. They captivated us with their experiences from the Knowledge 2024 event, showcasing incredible photos with MVPs and developer advocates. Their deep dive into the technical details of ServiceNow, particularly the conversation on RaptorDB and its potential to triple transaction performance, sparked a passionate and lengthy discussion among attendees.
Then came Akshat Joshi from Advance Solutions and Geet Sharma from Tech Mahindra, who demonstrated the power of Performance Analytics. Their session was incredibly fruitful, showing how complex reporting can be simplified. The audience was highly engaged, asking numerous questions and diving deeper into the topic.
We were thrilled to have four rising stars in the room, making the entire engagement even more rewarding and worthwhile.
As we wrapped up the morning sessions, it was time for a delicious lunch. This was prime networking time, and almost everyone took advantage of the opportunity to connect, share ideas, and build new relationships.
Post-lunch, the fun and excitement reached new heights with a series of amazing games. The highlight was a hilarious game where participants had to guess ServiceNow-related terms from famous Bollywood dialogues. Laughter filled the room as everyone enjoyed this light-hearted yet incredibly fun activity.
The day concluded with a flurry of selfies and group photos, capturing the joy and camaraderie that defined the event. It was clear that everyone had thoroughly enjoyed the day, and there was a shared eagerness for the next meetup.
