ACL for List view

Hi All,

We have a requirement i.e., restricting modifying few fields in the list view for change request table

For this I created a View and created a role.

Could anyone help me with the ACL, as to how using the ACL i can restrict modifying the fields for the user those who don't have the view role.

Hi Nivedita,

You can try creating ACL of type list_edit for change table & specify the roles who should be able to edit fields from list view (if any).

When i tried this the ACL is restricting modifying all the fields.

My requirement is only the view fields should not be editable. How can this be done.

Hi Nivedita,

Not sure what the View fields actually mean. But you can specify field next to table which you want to restrict.
