Active Directory and Mid Server

Hey Community, I need some help understanding the network infrastructure on getting the mid server connected to our companies intranet, first stop is Active Directory!

In our Development Environment for our intranet, I've installed the Mid Server to the Server that hosts our AD to hopefully simplify things (in prod this won't be the case)

In my basic understanding this is what I think should happen?

-MidServer is installed on AD Server

-MidServer uses SNOW account to connect to SNOW instance

-Windows Credential account in SNOW leverages a Service Account in AD with the appropriate permissions to make changes to AD.

I'm getting stuck on this last part, when I try and "Test Credentials" - I'm not sure where else I can get more information about this attempt?

Also MidServer is UP and Verified and I've tried to use my own user account that I know is in the domain admins group in development and still same thing.

Hi Ryan,

Did you check whether that mid server has access to AD by logging into the mid server?

Mark Correct if this solves your issue and also mark Helpful if you find my response worthy based on the impact.
Thanks

Can you clarify what you mean by logging into the mid server?

Hi Ryan,

Did you check the credentials are correct?
