Activity stream not updating for all field changes

Hello,

I am facing an issue when changing , for example the quantity of a consumable, the change is not being logged in the activity stream. I tried the different solutions online, ex: "Checking the dictionary entry for the field and ensure that the 'Audit' field is checked or set to 'true'. " Changing the filters on 'General' tab and Activity(filter)." .but the issue persists.

 

Any idea why this is happening?

Hi, 
This is possible if you delete the attribute which is present in dictionary of quantity field. 
Steps:

Open the record, and delete it.
