Is it possible to add a filter to an embedded list? If so, can someone explain how to do it?

You can put a filter on them, if you right click on the embeded list row label you can click configure > dictionary.
You select the embedded list you are after
Then you can apply a filter condition
If this was helpful can you please mark as helpful and correct

I was looking for the user to be able to filter the list. It appears what you are proposing would be a preset filter. I might be able to make that work for my purposes, but the Reference Specification tab doesn't show up in my Dictionary entries. How do I make that tab visible?

Hi cshrader,
You may need admin access to view that tab. What is the level off access you have. If you would like the end user to filter the list you could add a related list. That would allow a filter and also allow end users to customise the rows they are seeing

I am an admin. The Reference Specification tab pops up for a second when the form is loading, but then it disappears.
We originally had the table as a related list but changed it to an embedded list because we needed to be able to have fields above the list on the same tab.
