Hello,
I need to add a new option in the select box of "Sort by" in the Topic Content Widget. The idea is that it must sort the records depending on the value of the order field (ascending). I have the option added but I dont know how can be the functionality in the script:

- Control + right-click the sort options at the top of the results list.
- Click Instance Options.
- Configure the desired settings for the sort widget.
Instance option Description Bootstrap color The color of the search widget. CSS Custom configurations that determine the look and feel of the elements in the widget. For more information, see Service Portal SCSS Primer. Hide Relevancy Removes the relevancy sort option. Table The table that contains the fields used to sort Sort Fields The fields used for sorting the list. Sort Field Labels The labels for the fields that appear in the sort options. The default is Views:desc,Newest:desc,Alphabetical. The sort order for the sort field labels is ascending. To use a descending order, denote :desc.

Hi Sandeep,
this solution only works for Service Portal widget "Knowledge Result Sort", but NOT for "Topic Content" Widget in ESC.
Your solution is copied from Configure sort widget instance options (servicenow.com)
Does anyone has a working solution for the employee center?

I have the same requirement, in my case sort by updated.

We are also experiencing this issue. After we have upgraded our version to Xanadu, the sort order option is not available anymore. How can we enable it again? here is what it looks like now. The red box is where the sort order option is supposed to be placed.
