Hi fellow developers,
I’m currently trying to integrate Now Assist Virtual Agent into the Now Mobile Agent application, but I haven’t been able to find the correct procedure to do so.
If anyone has experience with this integration, I would really appreciate a step-by-step guide or any helpful documentation.
Thank you in advance!

Hi @MayankGupta77 ,
You can follow below steps:
- Navigate to All > System Mobile > Mobile App Builder. The Mobile App Builder
- Search for the application scope you are working in and then select the name of the application scope. The Mobile App Builder
- Select the Functions category, and then select New.
- In the Name field, enter the name of the data parameter. You can have multiple parameters with the same name, so choose a name that you can distinguish easily.
- From the Type list, select Chat Launcher.
- In the Context field, select Global.
- Select Save.
- Navigate to the Screens category on the Mobile App Builder home screen and select the launcher screen where you want to add your Virtual Agent quick action or select New and choose New launcher to create a new launcher screen.
- In the Quick action function instance field, select the function created in the previous steps.
- Select Save.
These steps are mentioned in ServiceNow official docs. Please find the link below.

To integrate Now Assist into the Mobile Agent app, you must first ensure the Now Assist for Virtual Agent plugin is active and then navigate to Conversational Interfaces > Settings > General to enable the Now Assist experience. From there, use the Mobile App Builder to link your Virtual Agent chat client to a navigation tab or applet launcher within the Agent app.
