Hi All,
I am trying to add options to a choice box however the Record Producer is using 3 existing variable sets with no variables, UI policies or UI policy actions.
I want to add 4 options to the case type choice box without changing the variable set itself, as this would affect other record producers using the variable set.
How would I action this ?

Hello @LJ_23 ,
I would suggest you to create a new variable set and create the same variable in the new variable set and then in the existing variable set you can just create a ui policy to hide the variable set for your record producer on load.
So that it wont affect other items if any and as well as your new variable set is unique to your item so it will work perfectly without any issues.
Please mark it as helpful/correct if it helps you.

Debasis

Hello @LJ_23 ,
Just check the previous variable set and check for the same variable what all things are configured like the ui policy and client scripts.
Just do the same in your new update set in this way you can achieve the same

Hi @LJ_23
Are you planning to add the fourth variable as a new set, or will it be added to the existing three sets? If you add it to the existing three sets, it could impact other areas where the same variable set is being used. However, if you add it as a separate fourth set, it won’t have any impact.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Hi Debasis,
I have cloned the variable set and have managed to hide the fields on the form
however when I raise the inc I have to manually enter the options
prios to this they were already inputted based on the selection of the form
could you provide insight into this?
