Agent chat automatically initiating chat

Hey all

I have stumbled across an issue with our live agent chat, have Virtual Agent disabled

If a user leaves the chat window open apon closing there browser on the next launch, chat will automatically open a new chat and the user or agent needs to cancel or reject the chat.

 

We have chat history disabled but otherwise it's OOB

 

What's the best solution to this, hoping to keep the chat window minimised on browser open

We are having the same problem. After user completes a chat on portal the first time, every time user returns to the portal a new conversations starts automatically, even if the provious was completely closed. This is being annoying nad cause a "fake" interaction record to be created for the returning users. For us it started with Vancouver upgrade.

Did anyone happen to find a solution to this?  We also experienced the issue after upgrading to Vancouver and it is slowing down our upgrade plan because we are unable to resolve.
