AI search issue

I have a AI search index source updated from OOB. But the indexing happens on particular records not based on given condition. Also once I tried to create a new index source, it's not allowing me to select that table even if index source on that table in inactivated.

Please help me with your answers on this requirement. Its the CS case table I need to use as search index in portal.
