Approval Coordinator without any child activities

Hi folks,

I don't have any child activities in approval coordinator, what will be the output of this activity?

I've tested this, it's marking as approved by default why is it so?

Correcting - Not a bug but expected behaviour.

But if  no child activity what you need mate. OOTB is right as approved.
