Approval Engine

I want to learn more about Approval Engine independent from its use with ITSM Change Requests and Service Catalog Requests. I want to understand how to use and integrate it in custom apps. Is it even possible?

Please point me to Now Learning content or product documentation that will teach me more about it. Thank you.

Thank you, Sandeep. This note in the docs provided the most help I've found and the answer I needed.

Important: Classic approval rules have been replaced by the Flow Designer Ask for Approval action . Use Flow Designer to create workflow-driven approval logic that is easier to maintain and provides better reporting information.
