Approval step for manager approval gets skipped

Hi Community,

I have a flow with an approval step. There is a field that references user record and the approval step will grab the manager of user entered and ask for approval.

this was working fine in UAT last month, however I was regresion testing and now the approval step is always getting skipped.

Can you help with this please?

@AnthonyMull Check if there were any recent changes made to the Field Reference or Flow Logic or Conditions or Approval Configuration.

Could you check the user records in your UAT environment to ensure the manager field is filled for the tested users?

The approval step conditions are set up correctly and the logic pointing to the user’s manager is accurate and hasn’t been changed.

Check the Tested user record has a manager tagged to him, if it is tagged add a log to get the manager record before the approval and also please provide the Screen shot of the flow Configuration.

Could you please provide a screenshot of the flow execution context if available? Any errors you see with the Ask for Approval step?
