Archive Users

We have LDAP integration for importing user data in servicenow and over the time period user count has moved to large count while only 30% of the records are active and rest are inactive.

Just wanted to know if someone has archived user records specifically and even is it worth do so plus any forthcoming challenges if we move with the archival process?

Any ideas?

Hi Berny,

We would not be deleting any user records, so purpose of Archiving would only be to move records in Archive User table and restored the records if activated in AD. I don't think we would be archiving related records due to challenges suggested by you.

User table is not visible in Archive Rules that is the problem or we can create Archive rule and archive user data.

Can anyone suggest on Archival policy for inactive users more than 90 days as unable to find sys_user table in Archiving list.
