Assignment group is not listing values in the dispatcher workspace

In the dispatcher workspace, the top left corner assignment group filter will be there, after xanadu updgrade the groups were not listing, any idea about this.

For some reason, in Yokohama, I also had problems with the list of the assignment groups in the dispatcher workspace, not only that, if I wanted to open a related list like the Agent Schedule it didn't showed any records and also prompted an error message, something about query range.

Doing some research, I found that adding the "query_range_role" role to the dispatcher solved that problem, I'm not sure why or how it works, so be careful in adding this role, I'm working in a personal project so I don't mind doing it, please let me know if this helps you or if you found any other solutions.

Thanks @CarlosR i've never heard of the "query_range_role" role.  I will investigate.

 

We found a couple of interesting things:

  1. It seems obvious, but you need to set up your Dispatcher Groups correctly so the dispatcher users can see the agents in the assignment groups.  The Dispatcher Groups need to have coverage of the assignment groups (the assignment groups need to be covered by the dispatch groups).  Admin role does not magically over-ride this or grant visibility.
  2. Caching causes a lot of confusion.  Seems to be mainly browser caching is the problem as private session / browser cache clearing seemed to fix most of the visibility issues.  We had repeated situations where changing configurations seemed to have no effect and then suddenly, next visit to the Dispatcher Workspace, everything was working as expected.
