Assignment rule for RITM

Hi ServiceNow Experts,

 

I need help in creating an auto-assignment of RITM based on what request category selected.

So if I fill out the request on the Service Portal, there is one variable question that asked for what category is the request for.

Now, the answers to these questions will be shown on the Variables section in RITM.

What I would like to happen is, whatever category they selected, the RITM will be auto-assign to a specific group.

For example, they selected Electrical then once submitted, the RITM will be auto-assign to Electrical assignment group.

I need guidance please. I don't know where to start. Thank you.

Hi, 

You can create an new assignment rule

And you can add a condition like below (show Related List -> Variable -> Select the catlog item -> Variable -> value)
