Hi guys,

 

how to add multiple users in assign to in assignment rule 

 

please help !!!

@tGhadage  Instead of adding multiple users, you should assign the ticket to an assignment group via assignment rule.

Hi @tGhadage .

 

Please follow the best practice. Create a group and add user in it and create assignment rule to assign particular group to. If group is assigned them their team member will on it.

Hi @tGhadage  

 

What is your use case , to add multiple users in assignment rule and how you will use that assignment rule later on?

 

As far as I know, an incident / change / prb or any record can be assigned to 1 user at a given point of time, and if the assignment rule will return more than 1 user then how it will assign the record?

 

Not sure what exactly you want to achieve.

Hi @tGhadage  ,

As everyone here has mentioned, you do not assign a ticket (task based record) to multiple users. If your use case calls for such a case, work with the requester to breakdown the task into multiple tasks and assign them to groups.

 

The best practice is to assign the task to a group (with the required role) and team members from that group pick up the task.
