ATF: Click Component (Custom UI) step sometimes works sometimes dosen't work for the same component

Hello, we are creating an ATF for testing on a service portal. The portal has customized components (widgets, modals) and sometimes we need to use the native step Click Component (Custom UI) to click on components. We use Retrieve Components to identify the components and set them to the step. What is happening is that at times the step is able to execute the action and at other times the same step is unable to locate the component, failing without any modification to the ATF test or the component itself. We noticed that when the Retrieve Components is executed it generates a sys_id to serve as a reference for the field and that with each new Retrieve this sys_id is modified, but as I mentioned previously, the step fails without any modification or execution of a new retrieve. I would like to know how to proceed to prevent the step from failing. Thank you in advance for your support.
