Attachment icon on service portal

Hi Community,

I have a created a new catalog item in our service portal. but it has missing attachment icon. How can i enable the attachment icon here? when i see other items, i do see the attachment button on them. Where should i make the changes? widgets? ui script? macros?

Unfortunately, we can't really help you without you pasting the client script and server script.

Like I mentioned above, my guess would be that the dependency on whether that attachment shows up or not...if it there's a certain variable or something on the catalog item.

So I would then recommend you look over all variables and variable sets and compare between an item that doesn't show the attachment section and one that does and see if you can spot the different.

Also check client scripts and UI policies as well.

Something is most likely triggering this custom section to show and most likely it's a variable or something.

is the attachment mandatory? There is checkbox for that option.
