Hi All, 

I wanted to configure automated emails to suppliers, when a record is assigned to the assignment group "Supplier A". At present we have to manually take the details out of ServiceNow and copy into an email and send to the supplier. Is it possible that ServiceNow can auto generate an email that would get all the details from the record and email to an external supplier. so once it is assigned to "Supplier A" the email will automatically be sent to them with the details they need and when they reply it will automatically update the record

Yes 100% possible, you can create the notification for the same way as it is for internal user and by the dot walk you cna get the supplier information and send the email
